I’m a Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioner based in Sheffield.
I specialise in helping people with issues that are often worsened by stress or anxiety. This includes poor sleep, low self-esteem, unwanted habits, phobias, and even pain.
Why I started Mend Hypnotherapy
My journey into professional hypnotherapy began after stepping away from the corporate world. Like many people, I experienced first-hand the affects pressure, stress, and the demands modern life can have on your emotional & physical wellbeing.
These experiences inspired me to make meaningful changes in my own life. Over time, I developed the skills to create a happier, more balanced life with greater control and purpose. Now, I help others work towards their goals and embrace positive change.
My Solution Focused approach
Each session is unique and tailored to you. I use a combination of Solution Focused talking therapy, which looks towards the future rather than focusing on past problems, and hypnosis, a guided state of relaxation (trance) that helps access the mind’s natural resources for positive change.
This science-based methodology builds on your strengths and supports you in moving forward, using techniques drawn from Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS certificate. I take part in regular professional development and supervision to stay up to date with the latest research and ensure safe, effective practice.
