Hypnotherapy to stop smoking
Quitting smoking can feel impossible, especially if you’ve tried before and the habit has returned. Hypnotherapy offers a powerful way to break the patterns that maintain smoking, helping you manage cravings and take control. Most people stop smoking in just one session.

How Hypnotherapy helps you to give up
Smoking or vaping activates the brain’s reward system, creating strong habits linked to places, people, routines and stress. Hypnosis helps weaken these learned responses and supports the brain in forming new pathways associated healthier habits and more control.
It works by helping the brain form new associations with your previous smoking triggers. Using the power of the subconscious mind, hypnotherapy gently rewires the parts of the brain that store the smoking habit, so you can stop for good.
Pre-appointment prep
A week before your stop smoking Hypnotherapy session, you’ll receive a short pre-session form and a free sleep hypnosis track to listen to each night as you drift off.
This helps your brain begin to relax, reduce stress, and prepare for change before we even meet.
What to expect during smoking cessation hypnotherapy
The session
Your session is split into two parts:
Understanding your mind and the smoking habit
We’ll begin with a relaxed conversation where I gather a few details about you and explain how your brain develops, and can just as easily unlearn, the smoking habit. You’ll discover what’s really driving the urge to smoke and how hypnotherapy helps you take back control.
Hypnosis
Next, you’ll experience a calm, focused state of hypnosis. You’ll remain aware and in control throughout, but deeply relaxed. During this time, we’ll work with your subconscious mind to dissolve the desire for cigarettes or vapes and reinforce your identity as a confident, calm non-smoker - free from cravings for good. It’s safe, easy and anyone can do it.
For the best results, it’s important that you’re committed to becoming smoke-free.

Yes, many clients quit completely after a single 2-hour session. The key is that hypnotherapy targets the subconscious part of your mind where habits live - helping you let go of the desire to smoke, not just resist it.
-
Many clients come to hypnotherapy after trying nicotine patches, vaping, or medication — and finally find success. Hypnosis works differently because it changes the mental pattern, not just the physical addiction.
